[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Samsung Securities said on the 12th that its U.S. stock weekly trading service has exceeded 6 trillion won since its launch in February last year due to the craze for investment in AI (artificial intelligence) and semiconductor stocks such as NVIDIA.
The amount of weekly U.S. stock trading on the 25th of last month was about KRW 81 billion (about USD 62.3 million), more than three times more than this year's average daily transaction amount of KRW 24.8 billion.
US weekly stock trading, which began to increase last month, continues to rise. In fact, the average daily trading value of U.S. stocks more than doubled in May last year.
Since May, weekly trading volume has risen 30.5%, the highest trading price on the 25th of the same month. Since then, it has been increasing on the 26th (about 31.6 billion won) and the 30th (71.7 billion won).
