SK Square and SK Hynix jointly invested 100 billion won to invest in promising semiconductor-related companies overseas

[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] SK Square and SK Hynix will invest about 100 billion won in promising overseas semiconductor materials, parts, and equipment companies such as Japan and the United States.
According to SK Square on the 4th, TGC Square, an investment corporation, was established for efficient overseas semiconductor investment. SK Hynix, Shinhan Financial Group and LIG Nex1 will participate in the joint investment. Starting with this 100 billion won, the investment corporation is opening up opportunities for joint investment for companies that want to participate further.
SK Square and SK Hynix plan to proactively invest in semiconductor companies with unique technology to build a stable global semiconductor supply chain and strengthen cutting-edge technology competitiveness.
In addition to Japan, SK Square and SK Hynix plan to actively discover and invest in overseas semiconductor small and medium-sized companies such as the United States. Also, apart from this overseas investment plan, domestic semiconductor investment will continue as usual.
