[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] The derivatives market, including KOSPI 200 futures, will open 15 minutes earlier from the 31st.
The Korea Exchange said on the 6th that it will complete revising related regulations after announcing the early opening of the derivatives market last month and begin early opening on the 31st.
The early opening of the derivatives market applies only to futures, options and futures spread products based on the flagship stock index.
The opening time of products subject to early opening will be pulled by 15 minutes from 9 to 8:45, and even if regular trading hours change, such as the opening day and the CSAT day at the beginning of the year, the derivatives market will open 15 minutes earlier than the stock market. With the early opening of the derivatives market, the market price of products subject to early opening will be reduced by 15 minutes from 30 minutes to 8:30 to 8:45 from the current 8:30 to 9:00.
Information on market prices, such as estimated closing prices, will be published from 8:40 p.m. as it is now, and correction and cancellation of asking prices will be restricted for one minute before the end of the single market price. ±8% is applied to the derivatives market price limit before the stock market opens (from 8:45 to 9:00).
