[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] The National Railroad Corporation has filed a lawsuit against Hyundai Rotem and Woojin Industrial for damages worth 40 billion won.
According to Hyundai Rotem's public announcement on the 7th, the National Railroad Corporation filed a compensation suit against Hyundai Rotem and Woojin Electric on June 14 seeking 44.45 billion won and delayed damages.
Hyundai Rotem said, "This lawsuit was filed by the National Railroad Corporation in September last year in connection with the Fair Trade Commission's sanctions on bidding for railway vehicles. We will actively respond by appointing a litigation representative."
