According to legal circles on the 20th, Kwon and his wife Lee attended the third interview held at the Seoul Family Court's Home Affairs Division 3 (presiding judge Won Jung-sook) on the 17th. The date was closed to the public, just like the previous interview.

According to the legal newspaper, the date for the interview is a procedure in which a court family investigator meets and investigates both parties to the divorce suit in person over the investigation made by the court. The parties should attend in person on the interview date to investigate whether they are willing to divorce, how they led to the divorce suit, the process of property formation, and the parenting environment.

On the same day, the court decided to wrap up the family investigation process and start a lawsuit on the merits. The date for the first hearing has not yet been set.

His wife, Lee, filed a divorce suit in November last year and filed for property division asking for about half of Kwon's 100% stake in Smilegate Holdings.

In addition, he filed an injunction against 33.3% of Kwon's Smilegate stake until the end of the divorce suit, and the court accepted the request.
