[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Amid fluctuating secondary battery stocks, the market capitalization of POSCO Group, which recently marked an era of 100 trillion won in market capitalization, evaporated by more than 16.7 trillion won in two days. Individual investors who moved from Ecopro to POSCO Holdings (005490) have been sending love calls, including POSCO Holdings, POSCO International (047050) and POSCO DX (022100), despite the sharp drop in stock prices.

According to Market Point on the 27th, POSCO Holdings closed at 594,000 won, down 36,000 won (5.71%) from the previous trading day. It is the first time in four trading days that the KRW 600,000 range has collapsed based on the closing price since the 21st. POSCO Future M (003670) fell 74,000 won (13.21%) to 486,000 won, while POSCO International fell 18,500 won (21.74%) to 66,600 won. POSCODX, POSCO M-Tech (009520) and POSCO Stilion (058430) also fell 19.86%, 16.35% and 17.38%, respectively.

Shares of POSCO Group affiliates plunged all at once, with their market capitalization hitting KRW 105.67 trillion. On the 25th, just before the second round of stocks fell, the market capitalization of six POSCO Group-listed companies reached 122.4024 trillion won (based on the closing price), which evaporated by 16.7321 trillion won in two trading days.

Donghak Ant, the main player in pushing POSCO Holdings' stock price, continued its buying march despite the sharp decline. On this day, it also swept 141 billion won worth of money and went on a 10th trading day 'Lion'. The cumulative purchase amount during this period is 39.5329 trillion won. It is the largest in the KOSPI and KOSDAQ markets.

POSCO International also swept 219.2 billion won worth of stocks for 10 trading days, including 56.5 billion won, making it the second-largest net buyer. Ants did not care about the sharp drop in stock prices, including net purchases of POSCO DX and POSCO M-Tech.
