[Apha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] On the 4th, Shinsegae Group Vice Chairman Chung Yong-jin posted a photo of "Balwangsan makgeolli" on social network services (SNS).
HJ Magnelia Yongpyeong Hotel & Resort (Mona Yongpyeong) sells a bottle of 1000ml for 18,000 won.
Balwangsan makgeolli is made of natural rock water 'balwangsu' from the top of Balwangsan Mountain. The manufacturer explained that sparkling water contains little sodium and is rich in vanadium and silicon which are known to help improve skin aging and osteoporosis.
It does not contain aspartame, so it has less hangover and has a clean aftertaste by using natural sweeteners. Local ingredients are used to preserve local characteristics and are made through traditional fermentation processes.
