[Apha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Shares of Victents, a drama production company, closed at a price higher than the initial public offering price on the 17th, the first day of its listing from KONEX to KOSDAQ, but it is said to have been sluggish considering the recent rise in stock prices on the day of the listing of public offering stocks.

On this day, Victents closed at 26,350 won, up 14.57% from the initial public offering price of 23,000 won. Victents, which was previously listed on the KOSDAQ market from KONEX on the same day, jumped to 45,700 won, more than 98.7% of the initial public offering price, but soon gave up an increase.

Considering the case in which the stock price of new incoming stocks soared more than twice the initial public offering price after the exchange eased the stock price fluctuation on the day of the listing, the Victents's increase was not significant. Big Tenz recorded a closing price of 32,550 won on the 16th, the last trading day of the KONEX market.

Victents's KONEX market price of 32,550 won was more than 30% higher than the public offering price of 23,000 won, so the public offering price was set as the standard price on the listing date.

Victents's sales and operating profit last year were 32.2 billion won and 1.7 billion won, respectively. Since it was incorporated as a subsidiary of F&F last year, business synergy effect is also expected. Attention is focusing on whether it will secure competitiveness in the content market based on the drama Intellectual Property Rights (IP).
