[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Choi Jae-won, senior vice chairman of SK Group, met with Ola Källenius, CEO of Mercedes-Benz Group, to discuss ways to cooperate in business.

SK Group announced on the 23rd that Senior Vice Chairman Choi and Chairman Ola met at the SK Seorin Building in Jongno-gu, Seoul on behalf of the two companies and sought ways to expand cooperation in products and services in electric vehicle business areas such as electric vehicle batteries and TMAP.

"The Mercedes-Benz Group is SK's long-time business partner and a major customer," Senior Vice Chairman Choi said at the meeting. "We hope that Ola's visit will expand business cooperation between the two companies."

Mercedes-Benz explained that Chairman Ola visited SK Seorin Building with Mercedes-Benz Korea management to discuss ways to cooperate with SK Group on electric vehicle products and services, including the supply of batteries and T maps.

Lee Jong-ho, CEO of T-Map Mobility, a subsidiary of SK Square, will also attend the meeting to strengthen cooperation with Mercedes-Benz. T-Map Mobility will provide real-time traffic information and equip T-Map auto navigation to Mercedes-Benz vehicles released in Korea after next year.
