Solus Advanced Materials Builds Canada's First Battery Foil Plant

[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Solus Advanced Materials will start construction of Canada's first battery foil plant (copper foil for electric vehicle batteries) with the aim of mass production of 25,000 tons in 2026.
Solus Advanced Materials announced on the 6th (local time) that it held a groundbreaking ceremony for a Canadian battery foil plant at the Granby plant in Quebec, Canada. It is the first battery battery plant for electric vehicles to start construction in Canada.
The Granby plant of Solus Advanced Materials plans to start mass production in phases from 2025 and mass-produce a total of 25,000 tons of battery foil by 2026.
