According to the TV home shopping industry on the 7th, Lotte Home Shopping will receive applications for voluntary retirement by the 13th. Employees aged 45 or older are eligible for more than five years of service. The amount of voluntary retirement has yet to be determined.

The home shopping industry has faced a serious slump in business due to a drop in TV viewers and weak consumption.

Recently, there have been extreme conflicts, such as notifying some local operators of the suspension of broadcasting in connection with transmission fees paid by home shopping companies to paid broadcasting operators.

Lotte Home Shopping's sales and operating profit in the second quarter of this year were 231 billion won and 2 billion won, down 15.2% and 92.8%, respectively, from the same period last year.
