[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Doosan Robotics has entered the public offering process. As more than 10 companies, including Doosan Robotics and Millie, have begun a full-scale public offering process this month, expectations are growing that the IPO market, which had been somewhat sluggish until the first half of this year, will come alive after a long time.

Doosan Robotics, which is about to be listed on the stock market, began forecasting demand for institutional investors on November 11. Doosan Robotics will conduct an institutional investor demand forecast until the 15th, and will apply for a public offering for general investors from the 21st to the 22nd.

Doosan Robotics, an industrial robot manufacturer, is a major player in the IPO market in the second half of the year, whose market capitalization exceeds 1 trillion won for the first time since Fado, a semiconductor design company listed in August. The desired public offering price is 21,000 won to 26,000 won, and the estimated market capitalization based on the desired public offering price is 1.36 trillion ∼ 1.685 trillion won.

Based on the growth of the robot market, the stock price of Doosan, the parent company, surged as positive prospects for Doosan Robotics' future performance poured out of the stock market. Doosan closed at 149,100 won on the stock market, up 32,300 won (27.65%) from the previous day. After the public offering, Doosan Robotics is the largest shareholder with a 68.2% stake. "Doosan Robotics ranks fourth in the global cooperative robot market with 5.4%," said Bae Ki-yeon, a researcher at Meritz Securities. "Sales will increase from 45 billion Won last year to 252 billion Won in 2026."

In addition to Doosan Robotics, companies preparing for IPO are waiting in line. Millie (18th to 19th), an e-book platform company that is re-challenging for listing on the KOSDAQ market for the first time in a year, Inswave Systems (14th to 15th), IMT (18th to 19th), Hanssak (19th to 20th) and Revu Corporation (19th to 20th) are set to make general subscriptions this month.
