According to the Korea Exchange on November 11, NCsoft's stock price fell by half compared to the beginning of the year. Stock prices, which stood at 480,000 won in January, fell to 240,000 won as they continued to fall.

NCsoft surpassed 1 million won in stock prices in February 2021 and became one of the "emperor stocks." However, starting from this, the stock price began to fall and fell by a quarter in two years and seven months. The stock price is trading at 246,000 won, up 0.61% from the previous day, as of 1 p.m.

The reason for the fall in stock prices is that the company's performance has continued to be sluggish due to the failure of its new release.

NCsoft's sales in the second quarter (April to June) were 440.2 billion won, down 30% from the second quarter of last year. Operating profit also plunged 71% to 35.3 billion won during the period. The operating profit ratio fell from 19.5% in the second quarter of last year to 8.0% in the second quarter of this year.

A bigger bad news for stock prices is that the scheduled release of new games has been postponed one after another.

The MMORPG genre TL was scheduled to be released in the first half of this year but was postponed to the second half of this year, with only the domestic version coming out in December and overseas releases postponed to next year.

According to FnGuide, NCsoft's third-quarter operating profit forecast was 125.4 billion won until April. Since then, it has fallen to 32 billion won this month, following 79.1 billion won in June and 41.7 billion won in July.

NCsoft's third-quarter operating profit forecast was 32.6 billion won. This is a 77.42% decrease from 144.4 billion won in the third quarter of last year. It is estimated to be 7.64% more profitable than 35.3 billion won in the second quarter.
