The application for invalidation of the patent filed by Daesang and Samyangsa, which produce allulose in Korea, was accepted. However, since a lawsuit has been filed for cancellation, there is a possibility that the "Alulose" business, one of these companies' core businesses, will face difficulties depending on the results.
According to the legal and food industry on the 12th, the sixth division of the Korean Intellectual Property Tribunal ruled that "patent registration is invalidated" on the free trial of the Allulose syrup patent filed against the UK's Tate & Riley Technology Limited.
