[Apha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] SK Broadband announced on the 14th that it supplied 'Cloud X', a cloud PC, to Seoul National University Hospital.
In particular, the cloud PC was built in the form of a 'desktop as a service (DaaS)' in line with the trend of public organizations' cloud conversion activation. Unlike building and directly managing a cloud PC system in a computer center, DaaS is a service model that provides a system built in a cloud data center in the form of a monthly fee.
SK Broadband has improved security by forming a dedicated zone for Seoul National University Hospital in a cloud environment for public institutions that have obtained cloud security certification (CSAP). Security has been further strengthened, such as hospital Internet operator redundancy, virtual network (VPN) communication encryption between hospitals and cloud centers, and file entry and exit control through network linkage system between hospital work PCs and cloud PCs.
CloudX is a product that has obtained the National Intelligence Service's security function confirmation. It provides various functions such as authentication, authority management, access control, encryption, and screen capture prevention.
