[Apha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Hana Bank announced on the 14th that it has established 'ESG Financial Review System' that reflects 'K-Taxonomy (Korean Green Classification System)' for the first time in Korea.
The Korean green classification system K-Taxonomi is the standard of the Ministry of Environment, which classifies eco-friendly economic activities such as greenhouse gas reduction and climate change adaptation, and is designed to revitalize green finance and achieve a sustainable circular economy system.
Hana Bank's newly established "ESG Financial Review System" automatically determines who needs to be reviewed by ESG when conducting corporate finance or direct investment. Through this, K-taxonomi suitability, greenhouse gas emissions, reduction goals, and monitoring results can be reflected in financial support decisions.
