Benoholdings: A joint venture with a Canadian wearable robot company

[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] KOSDAQ-listed company Benoholdings has entered the fast-growing wearable robot market.
According to related industries on the 17th, Benoholdings signed a contract with Canadian wearable robot company HMR (Human in Motion Robotics) to establish a joint venture.
The joint venture is 'Human Inmotion Robotics Asia (HMR Asia)' (tentative name). HMR Asia is scheduled to complete the establishment within this month with a 60% stake structure of Veno T&R and HMR 40%.
Benoholdings acquired a 45.1% stake in HMR in May and became the largest shareholder. Professor Park Jung-wook, co-founder of HMR, was recruited as a non-executive director and set the stage for entering the robot business. HMR, located in Vancouver, Canada, is a company that developed XoMotion, a wearable robot capable of Self-Balancing, Natural walking and Hands-free.
