SK Chemicals signed an MOU for waste plastic recycling business in China

[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] SK Chemicals announced on the 19th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Yuekun's recycling business brand Lovere at Yuekun headquarters in Shanghai, a leading Chinese waste recycling company, to jointly develop the waste plastic recycling business in Guangdong Province, China.
Lovere is a subsidiary of ATRenew, an electronics collection and recycling company listed on the New York Stock Exchange. Currently, 420,000 tons of household waste are collected and recycled annually in 37 cities in China.
SK Chemicals will develop Lovere and waste plastic recovery and screening businesses, starting with Guangdong Province, where its recycling plant is located.
