[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] The redevelopment union of Bukahyeon District 2 in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul has decided to withdraw the dismissal of the construction companies of Samsung C&T and DL E&C. This is because the construction company greatly reduced the construction cost of the apartment by accepting the union's demand.
Construction companies, which have been at odds with the union over construction costs at redevelopment and reconstruction sites, are lowering themselves. The move comes as housing prices are recovering around Seoul. Despite the construction cost conflict with the union, it is also a desperate measure to prevent the deprivation of construction rights.
According to the maintenance industry on the 21st, the redevelopment union of Buk-Ahyeon District 2 was scheduled to discuss the dismissal of Samsung C&T and DL E&C Corporation at the general assembly on the 23rd, but withdrew it.
Samsung C&T and others earlier proposed to the union by lowering the construction cost to 8.25 million won per 3.3㎡ around the middle of this month. However, as the union continued to push for the dismissal of the city corporation, the construction cost was lowered once again to 7.48 million won.
In addition to the construction cost of 7.48 million won per 3.3㎡, Samsung C&T and DL E&C Corporation plan to reduce the interest cost required by the union and accept 100% of the terms and conditions of the union.
