[Apha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Lotte Group has decided to build one or two more super-large commercial complexes in Hanoi, Vietnam, within five years.

Lotte Group said on the 21st that it is buying a site to introduce additional large-scale complexes such as "Lotte Mall West Lake Hanoi," which brings together department stores, marts, hotels and movie theaters.

Lotte Mall West Lake Hanoi, which is set to open its grand opening on the 22nd, is a mega-commercial complex that Lotte has ambitiously introduced to expand its Southeast Asian market.

The total size of the complex is about 354,000㎡, overwhelming local brands Vincom's Mega Mall Royal City (117,000㎡) and Times City (67,100㎡), as well as Ion Mall Hadong (69,400㎡) and Long Vien (62,000㎡).
