[Apha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] A fire at an energy storage (ESS) facility in SeAH Changwon Integrated Special Steel Corporation, Gyeongsangnam-do on the 25th caused damage worth 7 billion won (estimated by the fire department).
According to the Changwon Fire Department, a fire broke out at the SeAH Changwon Integrated Special Steel Corporation ESS facility in Seongsan-gu, Changwon.
The fire burned down 499㎡ of one ESS facility, and 3,997 lithium-ion batteries in it were completely burned. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
