POSCO International enters the U.S. grain market

[Apha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] POSCO International will make full-fledged inroads into the U.S. grain market.
POSCO International said on the 26th that it has signed a "Basic Agreement on Joint Venture" on food investment projects with Bartlett & Company in Kansas City, USA.
The two companies push for a joint venture in grain procurement and soybean processing. It has agreed to establish a stable procurement system for U.S. grain and jointly develop overseas export markets. POSCO International plans to invest its stake in a soybean processing corporation currently being established in Bartlett. The joint venture to procure the original song is set up and operated jointly with Bartlett.
POSCO International plans to have a procurement system that handles 5 million tons of grain annually in the United States by 2030.
