Thailand's central bank visited Toss Bank to discuss innovation

[Apha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Thailand's central bank visited Toss Bank, noting the growth potential of the Korean Internet Bank.
Toss Bank announced on the 3rd that six officials, including Vice President Ronadol Numnonda, visited the Toss Bank building in Gangnam-gu, Seoul to discuss innovation and growth of Internet banks.
CEO Hong Min-taek, Chief Strategy Officer Kim Ji-woong and Chief Technology Officer Park Joon-ha attended Toss Bank.
Toss Bank has explained its management performance, strategy and vision since its launch. It is said to have emphasized the growth of scale that made it possible to turn into a surplus less than two years ago and innovation that led to many changes in the market as a bank.
Toss Bank made its first monthly surplus at the end of July this year and expects a surplus in the first quarter of the third quarter. The number of customers grew to 7.8 million and corporate value to 2.4 trillion won.
