[Apha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] OB beer raises the price of major beer products. It is explained that it was difficult to bear the cost pressure due to the nature of beer, most of which are imported.
OB Beer announced on the 4th that it will raise the factory price of major beer products such as Cass and Hanmac by 6.9% on average from the 11th. Amid exchange rate instability, they say the adjustment of product prices is inevitable due to rising prices of various raw materials that rely on imports and rising logistics costs caused by soaring international oil prices.
However, the 500㎖ can of Cass, which has the highest sales volume in the home market, was excluded from the price increase. It also plans to minimize the burden on consumers by maintaining a promotional promotion of 11,000 won for four cans at convenience stores and marts.
