Foreign investors sold net for 15 consecutive trading days... Samsung Electronics alone sold 750 billion won

[Apha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Foreigners have continued their net selling streak on the local stock market for 15 consecutive trading days.
According to the Korea Exchange on the 16th, foreigners sold a net 157.4 billion won worth of stocks on the 13th. The KOSPI index closed at 2456.15, down 23.67 points (0.95%) from the previous trading day.
Foreigners have been selling for 15 consecutive trading days since last month 18th. It is the longest period since the net selling from March 5 to April 16, 2020. The cumulative net selling of foreigners during the period was 2.4957 trillion won. The day when net selling was the largest was on the 4th, the first trading day since the Chuseok and National Foundation Day holidays, and it sold 417.8 billion won worth of stocks during the day.
Samsung Electronics sold the most by foreigners, selling a total of KRW 751.4 billion. It then sold POSCO Holdings 521.2 billion won, LG Energy Solutions and LG Chem 334.4 billion won and 307.4 billion won, respectively. Among individual stocks, Samsung SDI (180.8 billion won), SK Innovation (134.5 billion won), Doosan Robotics (123.9 billion won), Yuhan Corporation (119.1 billion won), and NAVER (111.6 billion won) also sold more than 100 billion won.
Kia was the most bought by foreigners during the same period, with a net purchase worth 221.8 billion won. POSCO International (KRW 90.1 billion), KT (KRW 81.3 billion), SK Hynix (KRW 78.9 billion), Geumyang (KRW 61.8 billion) and Hyundai Motor (KRW 56.5 billion) ranked top in net foreign purchases.
