Qualitas Semiconductor confirms 17,000 won over the top of the public offering price

[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Qualitas Semiconductor, which is about to be listed on the KOSDAQ, announced on the 18th that it has confirmed the public offering price at 17,000 won, exceeding the desired range (13,000∼15,000 won) as a result of institutional investor demand forecasts.
A total of 2,039 organizations participated in the demand forecast, which lasted until the 13th, recording a competition ratio of 818.5 to 1. This is the highest participation rate of institutional investors among demand forecasts conducted this year, the company said.
According to the company, all the institutions that participated in the demand forecast offered prices above and above the desired range, of which 97.8% offered prices above the top.
Established in 2017, Qualitas Semiconductor is a company specializing in semiconductor IP (high-speed design assets) and has SERDES production technology, a key component of interface IP that affects data transmission speed. Electronic integrated circuits and electronic components are the main products.
The company plans to use the inflow of funds from the listing to expand the high-speed interface IP portfolio solution and enter the global market.
Qualitas Semiconductor is scheduled to be listed on the KOSDAQ market on the 27th after a general subscription on the 18∼19th. The host company is Korea Investment & Securities.
