[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Kang Seok-hoon, chairman of KDB Development Bank, expressed that there is no reason to sell the HMM if there is no qualified buyer.
Chairman Kang attended the parliamentary audit of the National Policy Committee held at the Yeouido National Assembly in Seoul on the 24th and responded to the question of Yoon Joo-kyung, a member of the National Assembly.
In response, Chairman Kang stressed, "If there is no qualified buyer, there is no reason to sell it, and it should not be."
Meanwhile, the Korea Development Bank and the Korea Maritime Promotion Agency have selected △Dongwon Industrial △ Harim and JK Partners Consortium △LX International as bidding candidates and have been conducting due diligence since the 6th of last month. The preferred bidder will be decided through the final bidding in November.
