KAI opens 'Central Europe Office' in Poland

[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] The Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) opened its "Central Europe Office" in Warsaw, Poland, to target the European market.
The KAI announced on the 25th that it had set up a Central European office in the center of Warsaw, the capital of Poland, and held an opening ceremony on the 24th.
The opening ceremony was attended by high-ranking officials from the Polish Air Force, including Yoon Jong-ho, vice president of KAI, Ireneus Novak, Air Force Commander in Poland, and Mateius Sarossiec, deputy director of the Military Policy Bureau, while Lim Hoon-min, ambassador to South Korea, and Lee Jung-hoon, director of the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency, were present.
The Central European office is mainly responsible for managing FA-50-related projects exported by KAI to Poland.
It will also be used as a marketing hub to promote the excellence of Korean aircraft to potential customers who are in demand for replacement of old fighter jets in Europe.
