[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Naver Cloud first signed a first investment contract of 1 billion won for Brickmate, which is worth 39 billion won on the 23rd. Brickmate is an IT venture affiliated with Kumho Electro-Mechanics.

A Brickmate official said, "I understand that Naver Cloud is considering a second investment after the first investment," and added, "It is a positive signal in evaluating the company’s corporate value.”

The company has an all-round business partnership with Naver Cloud since the first half of this year and operates a 2EZ (Too Easy) MSP service to support easy adoption of NCP cloud. The two companies are also seeking ways to cooperate in AI-related services.

The company is drawing attention last month, with an agreement ceremony with a Vietnamese IT company being aired throughout the country on local state-run VTC. The company explained that it is attracting attention in the industry by receiving investment intentions from major investors in ASEAN regions such as Singapore and Vietnam.
