Samsung Engineering has won 470 billion won worth of orders for Songdo Bioplant

[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Samsung Engineering announced on the 2nd that it has won an order to build a plant for raw materials in Songdo from global life science company Satorius.
Samsung Engineering received a letter of intent (LOI) from global life science company Sateus Korea Operations on the 31st of last month for a 473.15 billion won construction contract for the "Satorius Songdo Campus Project."
The plant is a raw material production and auxiliary facility for biopharmaceuticals to be built in the Incheon Free Economic Zone in Songdo, Incheon, and when completed, it will produce a disposable bag (Bag) for biopharmaceutical production, a pharmaceutical membrane filter (Membrane Filter) and a cell culture medium.
Samsung Engineering will carry out equipment procurement and construction work alone based on the already implemented design and is scheduled to be completed in 2027.
