[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Jisun] Lotte Hi-Mart will begin operating its store sales staff with a focus on directly employed workers starting from July 1.
On the 16th, Lotte Hi-Mart announced that it had recently selected approximately 1,400 final candidates through public recruitment of new and experienced employees for the store sales division, which began in May this year.
This hiring initiative comes in response to the end of the dispatch of promotional staff from Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics on June 30. It is understood that around 90% of the existing brand promotional staff working at Lotte Hi-Mart were successful in the recruitment process, recognizing their diverse experience and know-how.
Previously, at the end of 2020, the Fair Trade Commission issued a correction order and imposed a fine of 1 billion KRW on Lotte Hi-Mart for violating the Large-scale Retail Business Act by having dispatched employees from electronics manufacturers sell products from other companies.
