Shinhan Card had previously suspended cards for 890 customers, including pharmacists suspected of trading with credit cards at pharmacies and pharmaceutical malls without goods or services.

Shinhan Card gathered on its website on the 15th to announce the changes in the terms and conditions related to the accumulation of card points, and stated, "If it is confirmed that it is a transaction for the exclusion of points (gift coupons, prepaid electronic payment, charging, etc.) after point payment, the paid points may be collected based on Article 741 of the Civil Act."
