[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Sangjin] On the 18th, LS Eco Energy announced that its Vietnamese production subsidiary, LSCV, will supply bus ducts for IDC (Internet Data Center) use to Viettel Net. The products are slated for deployment at a large-scale IDC being constructed near Hanoi's Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park.

Vietnam has implemented a "Cybersecurity Law" requiring major global IT companies to store significant data within Vietnam. Consequently, the IDC market in Vietnam is expected to grow annually by over 10% until 2028.

Benefiting from expanded exports to North America and Europe, LS Eco Energy achieved its highest-ever operating profit in the first quarter of 2024. In collaboration with LS Cable & System and LS Marine Solutions, LS Eco Energy is also strengthening cooperation to expand its global submarine cable business.
