Hybe's third-quarter earnings rose 20% to 72.7 billion won

[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Thanks to the activities of popular idol singers such as BTS and Seventeen, Hybe posted the highest performance in the third quarter of its history.
Hybe announced on the 2nd that it recorded sales of 537.9 billion won and operating profit of 72.7 billion won in the third quarter of this year. Compared to the same period last year, sales increased 20.7% and operating profit increased 20%.
In terms of sales composition, direct participatory sales such as albums, performances, and advertising appearances accounted for 382.4 billion won, or 71% of total sales. Album sales grew 104% year-on-year to 264.1 billion won, while performance sales rose 84% year-on-year to 86.9 billion won.
