Dongwoon Anatech has hired two specialists on medical devices

[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Dongwoon Anatech announced on the 9th that it will strengthen its healthcare business by recruiting two medical and bio experts at the same time.
Choi, the new advisor, joined Dongwoon Anatech on the 6th as a medical and pharmaceutical expert. In the future, Dongwoon Anatech's saliva sugar diagnostic device "D-SaLife" is expected to demonstrate its expertise in the development and licensing process.
The new advisor Choi was the youngest to pass the 30th administrative examination in 1986 and graduated from Seoul National University's Department of Social Welfare in 1987, the following year. Since then, he has worked at the Ministry of Health and Welfare for 26 years and has served as director of health and medical policy, director of health insurance, and director of health policy. He also served as the head of Gachon University's center and the dean of Soonchunhyang University's Graduate School of Health Sciences to train younger students in the health and medical fields.
Until recently, Choi served as an advisor to health insurance, health care policy and food and drug policy at law firm Yulchon. He is considered one of the best experts in the health care and pharmaceutical industries.
Professor Lim will be appointed as an outside director at the Dongwoon Anatech extraordinary shareholders' meeting to be held on the 23rd. The term of office is three years from the date of appointment.
Professor Lim was born in 1964 and graduated from Korea University Medical School in 1989 and earned his master's and doctorate degrees from the same graduate school. Since then, he has been a clinical professor of clinical pathology at Korea University Medical Center and a research vice president of Korea University Guro Hospital, and currently serves as a professor of diagnostic examination medicine at Korea University Guro Hospital. It mainly specializes in molecular genetics, blood transfusion medicine, and clinical microorganisms. Dongwoon Anatech is the right person to add expertise to the clinical trial of saliva sugar diagnostic devices.
Based on his knowledge of biotechnology and field skills, Professor Lim made outstanding achievements in the diagnostic examination and medical biochip field and received a presidential commendation on the occasion of Medical Device Day in 2019.
Dongwoon Anatech expects the competitiveness of the healthcare business to be greatly strengthened with the joining of advisor Choi and professor Lim.
