[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] AP System announced on the 13th that it will supply secondary battery manufacturing equipment to the joint plant of SK On and Hyundai Motor in Georgia.

It has also won orders in North America since winning its first order since entering the secondary battery equipment business by supplying equipment to SK On's Seosan plant in August.

"Since the establishment of a secondary battery division last year, we have been carrying out aggressive recruitment and research and development (R&D)," an AP system official said. "Based on 20 years of key technologies and experience in supplying semiconductor and display manufacturing equipment, we have signed a contract to supply more types of equipment than the previous contract for the supply of domestic secondary battery manufacturing equipment."

Based on this order, AP System plans to further strengthen its secondary battery business for the global market.
