[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] The Korea Exchange deliberated and voted to delist Green Bam Media, which had a reason for delisting on charges of breach of trust by former Chorokbaem Group Chairman Won Young-sik.
The exchange said it held a KOSDAQ market committee meeting on the 20th and made the decision. According to the KOSDAQ listing regulations, Chorokbaem media can file an objection to the delisting resolution within 15 business days from this day. If Chorokbaem Media files an objection, the exchange will hold a KOSDAQ market committee meeting within 20 business days to decide whether to delist it, including a plan to grant an improvement period.
Chorokbaem Media has produced video contents such as dramas and entertainment and has been known as a producer of 'My Liberation Notes', 'Penthouse', and 'My Mister'.
In the third quarter of this year, sales (on a consolidated basis) rose 14.5 percent year-on-year to 166.5 billion won and operating profit rose 146.1 percent to 5.8 billion won over the same period.
