[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] SK Innovation's lawsuit against Roh So-young, director of the Art Center, Nabi, demanding the eviction of the Seorin Building in Jongno-gu, Seoul, has been broken.
The Seoul Central District Court held the second adjustment date for the real estate extradition claim filed by SK Innovation against Director Roh in the afternoon of the 22nd, but the adjustment was not reached because SK Innovation's representative was not present.
As a result, the lawsuit will be concluded through a formal trial by Jang Sung-hak, a senior judge of the Seoul Central District Court's Civil Affairs Department 36.
The court reportedly said in its first adjustment period on the 8th that if SK Innovation is not willing to accept the adjustment plan from the Art Center Butterfly, it does not have to attend the second adjustment. In response, Art Center Butterfly submitted a mediation plan on the 16th, but it seems that SK Innovation did not accept it.
The real estate that SK Innovation is demanding eviction is the fourth floor of SK Group's headquarters Seorin Building, where Art Center Navi is located. Art Center Butterfly opened here in December 2000.
SK Innovation, which manages the Seorin Building, filed a lawsuit in April this year, claiming that the lease contract with Art Center Butterfly ended in September 2019, but management losses are growing due to unauthorized occupancy.
The divorce suit between Chairman Choi and Director Roh is currently under appeal. In December last year, the first trial judged that Choi's SK shares were not subject to the division of property due to his unique property, and acknowledged only 100 million won in alimony and 66.5 billion won in cash, and both sides appealed.
