Minister Cho met with reporters at the Sejong Government Complex and said, "The government is thoroughly preparing for all cases, regardless of the possibility of failure in bidding (HMM)." Minister Cho added, "It is not the time to mention the current sale result on the possibility of HMM bidding."

The Korea Development Bank and the Korea Ocean Business Corporation will proceed with the main bidding for the sale of HMM on the 23rd. It is heard that LX Group, which was selected as a candidate for HMM acquisition along with Dongwon and Harim Group, has decided not to write down a meaningful acquisition price even if it does not participate or participates in the main bidding.
