[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport has sent a notice to GS Engineering & Construction to announce the suspension of business for eight months from the civil engineering construction project to the landscape construction project.

GS Engineering & Construction announced on the 23rd that it received a preliminary notice from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport regarding additional businesses subject to eight months of suspension.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport said it will push for an eight-month suspension on GS Engineering & Construction, holding the minister responsible for the collapse of the Geomdan apartment parking lot in Incheon in April. In September, the company notified the suspension of the civil engineering construction project for eight months, and even the landscape construction project was notified of the suspension. The landscape construction industry is also involved in the collapse, apparently adding a business suspension industry.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport submitted its opinion on the disposition to GS Engineering & Construction by the 5th of next month and notified it to attend a hearing scheduled for the 12th of the same month.
