Yanolja turns to profit in the third quarter compared to the previous year with operating profit of 12 billion won

[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Leisure platform company Yanolja made an announcement on the 24th that it posted 12 billion won in consolidated operating profit in the third quarter of this year, turning into a surplus from 2.6 billion won in losses during the same period last year.
During the same period, sales rose 34 percent to 238.7 billion won, while net profit rose 73 percent to 19.8 billion won.
Although operating profit in the platform sector has decreased, its performance has improved as operating profit in the cloud sector has turned into a surplus and deficit in the interpark triple sector has decreased.
Sales in the platform sector reached 108.3 billion won, up 5 percent from the same period last year. However, operating profit was 8.3 billion won, down 47% from the same period last year.
Sales in the cloud sector rose 112 percent year-on-year to 64.9 billion won as overseas operations performed well. Operating profit turned into a surplus of 9.2 billion won.
The Interpark Triple division posted sales of 74.6 billion won, up 52 percent from the same period last year, and reduced its deficit to 1.1 billion won in operating losses.
Anolja's trading volume in the third quarter rose 55 percent to 2 trillion won from the same period last year. In particular, cloud sector transactions increased 349% over the same period.
