[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Sohn Tae-seung, former chairman of Woori Financial Group, and Lee Won-deok, former president of Woori Bank, have been confirmed to have resigned from their advisory posts at Woori Bank.
According to the financial sector on the 1st, former chairman Sohn and former president Lee recently expressed their intention to resign as an advisor, saying, "We cannot burden the company."
In general, financial companies often appoint their heads as advisors after their term of office to seek advice on management. Earlier, Sohn and Lee retired in March and July, respectively, and have since been appointed as advisors to Woori Bank to carry out management advisory work.
