SK Gas Enters US ESS Business ... Establishment of a local corporation

[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] SK Gas will enter the US ESS (Energy Storage System) business in earnest.
SK Gas announced on the 6th that it will acquire 18,200 shares of the US electric sales company GridFlex for about 69.7 billion won.
After acquiring the stock, the stake will be 80%. The stock acquisition date is April 30, 2025.
SK Gas said the purpose of the acquisition of the stock was "to enter the US ESS business."
GridFlex is a local corporation established in the form of a joint venture (JV) between SK Gas and its partners to promote the US ESS business. The partner company has not yet been made public.
SK Gas signed this contract and included the condition that the call option can be exercised when major business structure changes.
