HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering has secured orders for two Very Large Gas Carriers (VLGC) and two Product Carriers (PC), totaling 500 billion KRW.

[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Jisun] On the 8th, HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering announced that it has signed a contract worth 492.5 billion KRW.
HD KSOE disclosed that it secured a contract with a Middle Eastern-based shipping company for two Very Large Gas Carriers (VLGC) totaling 343 billion KRW and with an Oceania-based shipping company for two Product Carriers (PC) totaling 149.5 billion KRW.
The two VLGCs will be constructed at HD Hyundai Heavy Industries and are scheduled for delivery to the shipowners by June 2027. The two PC vessels will be built at HD Hyundai Mipo Dockyard and will be delivered by March 2027.
Including this contract, HD KSOE has achieved approximately 95.9% of its annual order target of 135 billion USD, securing orders for a total of 122 vessels (including marine 1st generation) worth 12.95 billion USD for the year.
