[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] LG Electronics has been switched to Cho Joo-wan, the sole CEO.

According to the Financial Supervisory Service's electronic disclosure system on the 18th, LG Electronics has been changed to Cho Ju-wan's sole representative system due to the resignation of CEO Bae Doo-yong.

CEO Bae Doo-yong's resignation came after Kim Chang-tae, vice president (CFO) of LG Innotek, was appointed to replace him in 2024.

The new CFO, Kim Chang-tae, graduated from Seoul National University's Business Administration Department and joined LG Electronics in 1995 and is considered a "financial painless person" who went through LG's finance team, LG Innotek's finance team leader and LG Innotek's CFO.
