[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Hyundai Motor Group will participate in the world's largest consumer electronics exhibition "CES2024" for the first time in two years.
Hyundai Motor Group focused on strengthening its internal stability last year and made perfect preparations by sending 200 observers to chartered flights for exhibition analysis. This year, Hyundai Motor Group is expected to fill up with new technologies comparable to UAM and Robotics, which were introduced in 2021.
According to industry sources on the 22nd, Hyundai Motor Group will set up a booth with Hyundai Motor, Kia and Super Canal at the CES2024, which will open in Las Vegas on Jan. 9 of the new year (local time).
Hyundai Motor Group skipped participating in the CES last year. Instead, in order to strengthen internal stability and check global trends, 200 chartered observers were dispatched. Based on this, it is analyzed that the CES strategy to be held in the new year has been completed.
When the exhibition is held, top executives, including Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Chung Eui-sun and Song Chang-hyun, head of Hyundai Motor's SDV headquarters and president of Pot2dot, are expected to attend and lead the scene in person. According to the industry, the number of executives and employees of the group's affiliates alone reaches hundreds of people.
Hyundai Motor has decided on the theme of the CES booth as 'a major shift to hydrogen and software'.
Hyundai Motors is expected to utilize CES as a place to adopt and announce hydrogen as a future business.
