10 trading firms including NH and JP Morgan, were eliminated from the National Pension Trading Securities in the first half of next year

[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] As the National Pension Service reduced the number of trading securities firms from 36 to 26 in the first half of next year, large domestic and foreign securities firms such as NH Investment & Securities and JP Morgan were found to have been excluded.
According to the investment banking (IB) industry on the 25th, the National Stock Trading Securities Company Selection Committee of the National Pension Fund Management Headquarters selected 26 general trading companies, six cyber trading companies and 15 index trading companies.
Three local securities firms, including DB Financial Investment, Meritz Securities and Samsung Securities, and three foreign firms, including CLSA Securities, Daiwa Securities and HSBC, were selected for the first grade of general trading securities firms.
Eight companies, including KB Securities, SK Securities, Daol Investment & Securities, Shinyoung Securities, Shinhan Investment & Securities, Hanwha Investment & Securities, Macquarie Securities and Morgan Stanley, were selected for the second grade.
Level three: BNK Investment & Securities IBK Investment Securities, Daishin Securities, DS Securities Mirae Asset Securities, Kiwoom Securities, Hana Securities, Korea Investment & Securities, CGS-CIMB Securities, Goldman Sachs, Nomura Financial Investment Twelve companies including Citi Bank have entered.
Among the existing national pension general trading securities firms, 10 companies, including NH Investment & Securities, Yuanta Securities, Eugene Investment & Securities, eBest Investment & Securities, Hi Investment & Securities, Hyundai Motor Securities, UBS Securities, Kyobo Securities, JP Morgan Securities and Heungkuk Securities, were eliminated.
In particular, NH Investment & Securities and Yuanta Securities were listed in the second half of last year, even though they were the first grade among domestic stock general trading securities.
The National Pension Service is said to have reduced trading firms to strengthen responsible investment by securities firms.
