SK ON invests 2.4 trillion won in battery production facilities

[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] SK ON announced on the 25th that it will invest about 2.4 trillion won in battery production facilities.
SK ON held a board meeting on the 19th and announced that it decided to invest a total of 2.3964 trillion won in acquiring battery production facilities. He explained that this is the sum of the expected amount of investment in Seosan 2nd and 3rd plants in Korea, 1st and 2nd plants of SK Battery America (SKBA), Ivancha plant in Hungary, and Yancheng 1st and 2nd plants in China.
SK ON explained, "It is an investment to respond to new orders," and said it will acquire related facilities by December 31, 2025.
