According to Hanwha Ocean on the 12th, an explosion occurred at 3:19 p.m. at a ship rudder manufacturing plant in the Geoje plant. The accident killed a 28-year-old worker at a partner company who was working on a grinder.

The reason for the explosion has not yet been confirmed. Hanwha Ocean will cooperate with related organizations to reveal the exact details and cause of the accident.

An official of Hanwha Ocean said, "The company is currently doing its best to identify and deal with the exact cause of the accident," and emphasized, "We will make every effort to prepare measures to prevent recurrence."
