[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] LG Innotek announced on the 15th that its operating profit fell 34.7% last year from the previous year due to the global economic recession.

According to the Financial Supervisory Service's electronic information disclosure system, LG Innotek's operating profit last year was about 830.8 billion won. It recorded 1.2717 trillion won, down 440.9 billion won from 2022.

During the same period, net profit also fell 42.3 percent from 979.8 billion won to 565.2 billion won.

Sales rose 5.2% from 19.5894 trillion won to 20.6053 trillion won.

It is the first time in two years that LG Innotek's operating profit has fallen below 1 trillion won since 2021.
